Candida Control Diet

MENU IDEAS 

The two weeks' worth of sample menus that follow will give you an idea of the variety of meals you can prepare while on the 90-day program. It's important to have a varied selection of foods so you don't get bored with the diet. 

Candida Control Diet

WEEK ONE
Day One

Upon arising - 2.cups of red clover tea
Breakfast - Omelet with vegetables (onions, spinach, avocado)
Snack - Apple (green) with a small handful of raw almonds 
Lunch - Sesame Millet with No-cheese Pesto, Broccoli with Sliced Almonds
Snack - Celery sticks with macadamia nut butter, 2 cups of red clover tea
Dinner - Salmon with lemon-dill juice, Baby greens salad with Italian Vinaigrette Dressing

Day Two

Upon arising - 2 cups of red clover tea
Breakfast - Turkey scramble with onions and diced squashes
Snack - Blueberries with small handful of pumpkin seeds
Lunch - Brown rice and vegetable stir-fry  
Snack - Jicama slices, 2 cups of red clover tea
Dinner - Seared halibut salad with Ginger-Wasabi Dressing

Day Three

Upon arising - 2 cups of red clover tea
Breakfast - Poached eggs with toasted spelt or rye bread (yeast-free) with butter
Snack - Raw vegetables (broccoli, carrots, jicama, green beans) with Zesty Tahini Sauce
Lunch - Spelt pasta with garlic, basil, lemon, and vegetables
Snack - Handful of Spicy Almonds, 2 cups of red clover tea
Dinner - African-style Turkey, Spinach, red onion, and sprout salad with Italian Vinaigrette Dressing

Day Four

Upon arising - 2 cups of red clover tea
Breakfast - Cinnamon Oatmeal with 1 tbsp ground flaxseed and a splash of almond milk
Snack - Hard-boiled egg
Lunch - Vegetable soup with quinoa
Snack - Olive Tapenade on brown rice crackers, 2 cups of red clover tea
Dinner - Chicken fajitas with vegetables, guacamole, and salsa on a brown rice tortilla

Day Five

Upon arising - 2 cups of red clover tea
Breakfast - Egg sandwich (cooked egg on yeast-free spelt or rye bread with mayonnaise, spinach leaves, sprouts, and avocado)
Snack - Sunflower seeds (small handful, raw or dry-roasted), 2 cups of red clover tea
Lunch - Indian Risotto, Arugula, Beet, and Walnut Salad
Snack - Vegetable Alkalizer Juice (8 ounces)
Dinner - Halibut with Macadamia Nut Sauce, Oven-baked Sweet Potato Fries, Sauteed black kale and/or collard greens
Day Six 

Upon arising - 2 cups of red clover tea
Breakfast - Vegetable scramble with squash, mustard greens, chives, and sweet potato
Snack - Brown rice cakes with almond butter
Lunch - Quinoa Medley, Cucumber Salad
Snack - Green apple, 2 cups of red clover tea
Dinner - Tuscan Country Roast Chicken, Artichoke with butter or mayonnaise
Dessert - Carob Chip Cookies 


Day Seven

Upon arising - 2 cups of red clover tea
Breakfast - Buckwheat Blueberry Pancakes
Lunch - Ground turkey burger with mustard, onion, baby greens, avocado, and sauteed onion, wrapped in lettuce leaf 
Snack - Toasted rye bread (yeast-free) with tahini and a drop of stevia and cinnamon, 2 cups of red clover tea
Dinner - Cornish Game Hen stuffed with wild rice, Brussels sprouts and carrots with butter
Dessert - Baked Cinnamon Apple
