Candida Diet Desserts Recipe

DESSERTS AND SNACKS  

Tofu Carob Pudding 
  • 8 oz silken tofu (organic)
  • 3 tbsp carob powder
  • 1/2 tsp stevia powder or 4 drops stevia liquid 
  • 1/4 cup almonds, ground 
Combine all ingredients except almonds in a blender until smooth. Chill and serve with ground almonds sprinkled on top.
 
Candida Diet Desserts Recipe

Baked Cinnamon Apple 
  • 1 medium Granny Smith or pippin apple 
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional) 
Remove apple core to about 1/2 inch of the bottom of the apple. Make the hole about 3/4-1 inch wide. Blend the cinnamon and butter and spoon it into cavity of apple. Place apple in a buttered baking pan with about 1/4 inch of water and bake at 350° until tender. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
 
Spicy Almonds, Walnuts, or Pecans 
  • 1 cup raw almonds, walnuts, or pecans 
  • Few dashes of cayenne 
  • 2 - 4 drops stevia liquid
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
Stir all ingredients together. Spread on baking sheet and bake at 300° for 10 minutes. 

Carob Chip Cookies 
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/4 tsp stevia powder
  • 1 egg 
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla 
  • 1/2 cup whole spelt or buckwheat flour 
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt 
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda 
  • 1 cup rolled oats 
  • 1/4 cup raw pecans or walnuts, chopped 
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened carob chips
Mix the butter, stevia, egg, and vanilla in a bowl. Blend in remaining ingredients in the order listed. Drop tablespoonfuls of the batter onto a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 375°.


Tahini Toast 
  • 1 slice bread (wheat-, yeast-, sugar-, and dairy-free) 
  • 1 tbsp raw tahini
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of stevia
